Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe has shown himself annoyed by his teammate Neymar. During the 2-0 home win against Montpellier in Ligue 1 on Saturday, a TV camera caught the 22-year-old complaining about the Brazilian.
Mbappe had to leave the field in the 88th minute with a double change – and Julian Draxler, who had just come on the field, scored the 2-0 goal with his first contact with the ball on presentation of Neymar.
Mbappe argues on the bench
During a quick cut to the PSG bank, the broadcaster showed Canal+that the joy of the goal at Mbappe was kept within narrow limits and that he instead discussed with Idrissa Gueye, who was sitting next to him. “He doesn’t suit me,” complained Mbappe, most likely referring to Neymar, who had been stubborn in a few situations before.
Neymar’s failure to pass Mbappe changed nothing about the PSG success: With the three-point in their own stadium, the Parisians expanded their perfect starting record to eight wins from eight duels.
