Milan are looking for a playmaker following the departure of Hakan Calhanoglu. Allegedly, the Rossoneri are now keen on a Real player.
AC Milan has Isco from Real Madrid in their sights as the successor to Hakan Calhanoglu, who has migrated to city rivals Inter. That reports the Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 29-year-old playmaker should not appear in the plans of the new Real coach Carlo Ancelotti, so a goodbye this summer is likely. The fact that Real and Milan have an excellent relationship that stems from the deals with Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz could speak in favor of a transfer to the fashion city.
Isco only substitute at Real
The first option to replace Calhanoglu was Hakim Ziyech, according to the report, but the Moroccan from Chelsea was too expensive for Milan. That’s why the club looked around again and then came across Isco. In the meantime, Dusan Tadic from Ajax Amsterdam had also been discussed in the club.
Isco only started eight appearances in the league at Real under coach Zinedine Zidane last season. In the Champions League, he was only allowed to play a total of 97 minutes for Los Blancos.
