Gay finished his sports career in San Martín de Burzaco in 2021, which he arrived in 2019 where he played 24 games and scored a goal on date 16 of the Primera C tournament against Luján.
The footballer also went through Deportivo Camioneros, Argentino Peñarol from Córdoba, Alumni from Villa María and Deportivo Rincón de Los Sauces from Neuquén.
Deportivo Armenian said goodbye to Maximilian Gay with a heartfelt message on his official Twitter profile. “We regret the death of Maximiliano Gay, former Deportivo Armenio player. We send our condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. We accompany them in this difficult moment. RIP,” they published.
