After the Corona break, the biathlon circus returns today to the Schalke football arena (6 p.m. live on ZDF). Ten couples compete against each other in the World Team Challenge. World champions Lisa Hauser and Felix Leitner will be flying the flag for Austria. The Tyrolean comes to the public event in Gelsenkirchen with a large dose of self-confidence, as the 29-year-old won the last World Cup race before Christmas with the mass start in Annecy (France).
The favorite is defending champion Norway, who instead of Johannes Thingnes Bö, who is high in the season, is sending Vetle Sjastad Christiansen, fourth in the overall World Cup, and Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold to the start.
