The Dutch team improved the first offer it made a few weeks ago, around 5 million euros for the pass -plus another 5 in bonuses- and, with this improvement, an agreement was reached between the three parties involved in the transfer of a of the key pieces of the Spanish team.

The goalkeeper from La Plata, who together with Franco Armani are the two who did not add minutes with the Argentine National Team in Qatar, joined the Castellón team at the end of 2020 and, since then, has played 80 games with the ‘Yellow Submarine’ shirt where he won the UEFA Europa League in 2021 and reached the semifinals of the Champions League in the 2021/22 season.

With this transfer to the Amsterdam club, Rulli, 30, will play for the fifth club of his career after passing through Estudiantes de La Plata between 2012 and 2014, Real Sociedad between 2015 and 2019, Montpellier during the 2019/20 season and Villarreal.
