Meanwhile, for the unification of C and D, not many details have emerged so far: what is certain is that it will have professional status, and the number of participating teams will be around 26 or 27 clubs, contemplating that in 2023 the First C will have 19 participants and the First D, 11.

  • Relegations from the National First Category: during the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Seasons, three (3) teams per season will be relegated from the National First Category to the Metropolitan “B” First Category or to the Federal “A” Tournament, as appropriate. be their affiliation (directly or indirectly affiliated).
  • Third promotion to the First National Category: in the 2023 Season, a third team will be promoted to the First National Category, which will emerge from a match to be played by the Winner of the “Reduced” Tournament of the First Category “B” Metropolitan 2023 , and the representative of the Federal Tournament “A” 2023 that arises in accordance with the regulations implemented for this purpose by the Federal Council.
  • First Category “B” Metropolitan 2024: from the 2024 Season the First Category “B” Metropolitan, will be made up of twenty-two (22) teams. For this purpose, for this integration, the Demotions (of directly affiliated Clubs) from the National First Category will be taken into account, as well as the Promotions from the Metropolitan “B” First Category to the National First Category; which will make it possible to consider the number of First Category “C” teams required to obtain the number of twenty-two (22) teams mentioned in advance.
  • Unification of the First “C” and “D” categories: from the 2024 Season the First “C” and “D” Categories will be integrated into a single Category, which will acquire the status of Professional.
