The Husqvarna rider won a stage for the first time in the edition that means his sixth participation in the most extreme rally in the world. This allowed him to rise from tenth to ninth place in the general table of the categoryat 12:23 p.m. from Howes.
His brother Luciano -third overall- finished fifth in today’s segment with a difference of 02:41, below the Spanish Joan Barreda Bort (Monster Energy JB, +02:29).
