Raphael Holzhauser is loaned to 1860 Munich from the Belgian first division club Oud-Heverlee Leuven.
The 29-year-old is the first winter signing for the German third division team. “When I found out about the interest of 1860 Munich, it was immediately clear to me that only the lions would come into question for a change,” says the two-time Austrian international. “My goal is to realize the dream of the entire club together with my new teammates and to contribute to it with my performance. I look forward to playing with the lion on my chest in the future.”
Last Sunday, Holzhauser was in the starting XI for the Belgians and had a goal in the 2-3 win over Kortrijk.
