Chelsea have not lived up to their own expectations this season. After the 1: 2 on Thursday against Fulham, in which star access Joao Felix saw straight red (58th), the discussion about a replacement for coach Graham Potter is picking up speed in the tenth place in the table.
One candidate is apparently Oliver Glasner. As the German “Bild” reports, the “Blues” have the Innviertler on their list.
It shouldn’t be the first time that Chelsea are considering the current Eintracht Frankfurt coach. At the latest since the Europa League triumph with the Hessians last year, the 48-year-old has also been on display internationally.
The former LASK trainer had never completely ruled out a departure from Eintracht: “If I say now, I’ll stay here anyway – and then something extraordinary will happen, where maybe the club will say: ‘Oliver, do it…’ Me I don’t intend to do it in any way, but it’s like every player for me – the market makes the laws.”
