LASK lends top talent from Slavia Prague

LASK secures the services of 20-year-old offensive player Moses Usor. The Nigerian is on loan from the Czech runners-up to Linz for a year, and LASK also has a purchase option. Usor made 27 appearances for Slavia in the autumn, contributing six goals and two assists.

The nimble offensive player moved from his home country to the Czech Republic in April last year and caused a sensation with his excellent performances at Slavia Prague B. Moses Usor contributed six goals and three assists in nine appearances and earned himself a place in the professional squad. The 20-year-old was also convincing there and had six goals and two assists in 27 games this season.

Usor flies to Belek

“The fact that a 20-year-old talent from Slavia Prague has chosen LASK shows us that we are on the right track. We had Moses on our screens for a long time and watched him live several times. He is a very fast, technically skilled player who gives us even more variety on offense,” says LASK sports director Radovan Vujanovic.

Head coach Didi Kühbauer is also happy about the new signing: “Moses is a young player with a lot of potential. He’s definitely capable of enlivening our attacking game. I’m looking forward to welcoming him to training.”

“I’m very happy to be here and I want to prove myself at LASK. I’ve also been to the new stadium, the Raiffeisen Arena. My goal is to play there soon and make the thousands of fans happy,” Moses Usor has a clear goal in mind on the day he signed the contract. Before stepping on the lawn of the new Raiffeisen Arena, the neo-LASK player will first go to Turkey. The newcomer travels to the ten-day training camp in Belek on Thursday as part of the black and white delegation.
