Buenos Aires Marathon and 21K: there will be roadblocks in five Buenos Aires neighborhoods

The marathon will start on Sunday at 7.30 in Figueroa Alcorta between Monroe and Juramento, which will also be the finishing point.

There will be a total cut in the Presidente Figueroa Alcorta avenue between Juramento and Monroe (Belgrano) that will not affect intersections from Saturday night until Sunday at 18, detailed a statement from the Buenos Aires government.

The route planned for the Buenos Aires Marathon and 21K will include total, momentary and successive cuts through Figueroa Alcorta avenue, Sarmiento, Del Libertador, Carlos Pellegrini, President Roque Sáenz Peña, Bolívar, Avenida De Mayo, 9 de Julio (north direction, without affecting exclusive Metrobus lanes).

Cuts will also be made on the Ilia Highway and on the Sarmiento avenue descent.

Meanwhile, the Sunday from 7 to 13 cuts will affect Figueroa Alcorta, Libertador avenue, Carlos Pellegrini, Corrientes avenues, Leandro N. Alem (without affecting exclusive Metrobus lanes), Rivadavia, Bolívar, Diagonal Sur, Belgrano and Paseo Colón.

The main roads of the La Boca neighborhood are added to the cuts: Irala, Brandsen, Del Valle Iberlucea, Wenceslao Villafañe, Benito Pérez Galdós, Don Pedro de Mendoza streets, Elvira Rawson de Dellepiane avenue, Julieta Lanteri; and in Puerto Madero: Calabria, Marta Linch, Juana Manso to Mariquita Sánchez de Thompson.

The runners will return for the avenues San Juan, 9 de Julio, They will enter the Autopista Illia access until the end of the marathon at the starting point.
