In addition to entire transfers, which have already been completed this winter, Stefan Reuter also finds time for contract talks with his own players: Fredrik Jensen has extended his contract with FC Augsburg!

Originally, the Finnish national player’s working paper would have expired at the end of this season – but both sides agreed before the Bundesliga restart to extend the contract until 2025.

Jensen came to the Fugger city from Twente Enschede in 2018 and has made 59 competitive appearances for FCA (six goals, seven assists). In the current season, the Finn has played in eleven of 15 Bundesliga games, six of them in the starting XI.

“With his dynamism and versatility, Fredrik Jensen is an important player for us,” said Reuter, praising the offensive player. “Unfortunately, he has been thrown back again and again in recent years by injuries and bruises. But this season in particular he has become stable through intensive work. […] We are convinced that he will continue to expand this development and that we will be successful together.”
