Defender Filip Stojkovic received an unusual present at the training camp in Belek on the occasion of his 30th birthday: before the morning training session, the pros of the Bundesliga soccer club organized a target shooting session at the jubilee. The hail of balls was no surprise for the veteran: this is how all birthdays are celebrated at LASK.
Stojkovic must have been happier about the free afternoon. This was an encore that coach Dietmar Kühbauer was able to give the team without a guilty conscience after the first few days in Turkey. “I’m pleased to see how well the boys are following along.”
Four swimmers, five golfers
Peter Michorl, Sascha Horvath, Marvin Potzmann and Florian Flecker used their free time in sunshine and 20 degrees by the sea. Alexander Schlager, Philipp Ziereis and Rene Renner did a round on the golf course of the Hotel Kaya Palazzo, Thomas Goiginger and Philipp Wiesinger honed their swing on the driving range.

Efthymios Koulouris and Marin Ljubicic showed accuracy with their goals in the 2-1 friendly against Sanfrecce Hiroshima over two 60-minute sessions on Saturday. Kühbauer was not only impressed by the performance: “The courts are in good condition, and everything else around them is good – so we can’t complain.”
