After beating Sanfrecce Hiroshima 2-1, LASK also won the second test run at the training camp in Turkey: The performance in the 3-1 win against the Bulgarian leaders CSKA Sofia was convincing.
In the second minute, Marin Ljubicic didn’t give CSKA goalkeeper Gustavo Busatto a chance after a hole pass from Sascha Horvath – but the referee decided it was offside.
First goal in starting XI debut
LASK dominated the opponent with a lot of speed, Robert Zulj scored the deserved 1-0: After a cross from Filip Stojkovic, he converted from the penalty spot (38th). Keito Nakamura gave Moses Usor his debut goal for LASK: The Japanese put the five across the open access – 2: 0 (44th).
Usor was in the starting XI for the first time in the second friendly, this time Akos Kecskes played alongside Philipp Ziereis in defence. For both, the second test run was over during the break, Thomas Goiginger and Felix Luckeneder came on for them. Tobias Lawal took over from Alexander Schlager in goal.

Goiginger made it 3-0 in the 59th minute. He converted a penalty after Marin Ljubicic was fouled. Shortly thereafter, coach Dietmar Kühbauer replaced the rest of the starting eleven. Florian Flecker missed the big chance to make it 4-0.
The game ended 3-1 because the Turkish referee gave the Bulgarians a penalty. Even the “fouled” Menno Koch was surprised by the decision: after the whistle he threw up his hands over his head because he thought his duel behavior following a free-kick cross had been rated as illegal. Stanislav Shopov converted the penalty (73rd). In the 2-1 draw against Hiroshima, the penalty awarded to the Japanese surprised everyone.
The test against Cukaricki Belgrade scheduled for Thursday has been cancelled. LASK will play the last game in Belek on Friday against Wisla Krakow (1 p.m.), on Saturday the athletes will travel home.
