In the first session of the day at 11 a.m. not everyone did the full program: those players who were on the pitch for a longer period of time in the friendly against CSKA Sofia needed to regenerate.

The rest completed regular training – including Branko Jovicic. The defensive midfielder, who was rested recently, is fit again.

Sand games on the beach and on the volleyball field

After lunch, coach Dietmar Kühbauer gave his players the second free afternoon. As with the first, Alexander Schlager, Rene Renner and Philipp Ziereis played a round on the hotel’s own golf course. The majority went to the beach – fantastic weather at 18 degrees Celsius and sunshine practically called for it. The support team also sweated in their free time – on the volleyball court.
