Rumors about LASK star Keito Nakamura have been accompanying Linz throughout the winter transfer period. After the interest of PSV Eindhoven was reported in the Dutch media at the beginning of the change period, the 22-year-old Japanese apparently also have other top European clubs on their list: As reporter Mike McGrath from the “Daily Telegraph” reported on Twitter, FC Augsburg and the French first division club Stade Reims have targeted the offensive player.
Even the English Premier League seems to be interested: According to McGrath, Liverpool FC and Brighton & Hove Albion have already sent their scouts to observe the Japanese. A change during this transition period still seems unrealistic: In the big leagues – like in Germany, England, Spain, Italy or France – the winter transfer window ends on Tuesday.
In addition, LASK sports director Radovan Vujanovic already pushed forward a transfer bar to OÖN in the transfer case about his top offensive man at the beginning of January: “Of course there are inquiries for him, but Keito is not for sale. We won’t give up any regular players in winter.” He will probably be right, at least during this transfer period…
