French ski racer Alexis Pinturault is aiming for gold in alpine combined at his home World Championships.

The 2019 world champion and 2018 Olympic silver medalist is just in the lead after the Super-G in Courchevel on Tuesday. He is 0.06 seconds ahead of second-placed defending champion Marco Schwarz from Austria. Third before the decisive slalom (2.30 p.m. / ZDF and Eurosport) is the Austrian Raphael Haaser (+0.14 seconds).

Simon Jocher, who had to sit out this season injured for several weeks, is in 13th place. His German teammates Andreas Sander and Romed Baumann are in 15th and 18th place.
