Instead of the injured Jesper Lindström (8.45 p.m. / ARD and Sky) Rafael Borré stormed the Bundesliga soccer team alongside top scorer Randal Kolo Muani. Captain Sebastian Rode replaces Swiss international Djibril Sow in defensive midfield.

Darmstadt coach Torsten Lieberknecht has also made two changes compared to the recent 4-0 win at SV Sandhausen. Emir Karic replaces Thomas Isherwood at left-back. Marvin Mehlem, who was suspended last, returns in attacking midfield. Oscar Vilhelmsson initially sits on the bench.
