Before he embarked on his South America tour with the tournaments in Buenos Aires (from February 13), Rio de Janeiro and Santiago de Chile, Austria’s tennis top man Dominic Thiem, who was looking for form, reorganized his management. The ex-world number three separated from the Spanish Kosmos group, where former player Galo Blanco was responsible for Thiem. Instead, Dominic’s brother Moritz should now take over the agenda. “There’s not much more to say about it, we ended the partnership with Kosmos without a dispute or anything like that, which was also very important to us,” Moritz Thiem commented on the separation.
Kosmos recently caused a stir after the ITF canceled the much-announced $3 billion Davis Cup deal with the International Tennis Federation.
