A total of 323 games from the two competitions are shown each season, 306 of which can be seen exclusively on Sky in Austria, according to a broadcast. For the same period, the broadcaster had already secured the rights to 185 games per season for the Champions League.
“The extensive rights for the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League ideally complement Sky’s existing sports portfolio and, together with the UEFA Champions League, cement our position as the home of UEFA club competitions in Austria,” said Michael Radelsberger, Deputy Managing Director of Sky Austria.
Individual games from the Europa League and the Conference League can be seen on free TV on Puls 4 from 2024. The private broadcaster has also secured the rights to highlights from the Champions League for three years.
