Lisa Hauser shot clean, but wasted too much time on the cross-country ski run. In the end it was 13th (1:08.7). Dunja Zdouc (45th) and Anna Gandler (49th) are also in the pursuit on Sunday.

Hauser didn’t have a good day on skis. “I’m annoyed, I think a lot would have been possible with 0/0. Some good ones blundered, I would have taken advantage of that, but it’s still not a satisfactory result,” said Hauser on ORF TV. It was a difficult race that you now have to tick off. “Recover smartly and attack again on Sunday,” she said of the pursuit.

Zdouc (2/+2:18.7) and Gandler (3/2:23.6) both struggled with their shooting performance. “It’s really annoying that I missed the last one twice,” explained Zdouc. Gandler reported that she wasn’t actually nervous, which is why she was very surprised that she didn’t score better. Mileage was good. Missing the pursuit of the top 60 were Anna Juppe as 72nd (4/3:15.0) and Tamara Steiner as 80th (3/3:46.9).
