Felix Neureuther once again lived up to his reputation as “Favorite Piefke” on Tuesday.
The German ex-skier was a guest at the Ski World Championships in Courchevel/Meribel in the ORF studio and looked at moderator Ernst Hausleitner in amazement: “Where is Rainer (Pariasek; note)? You’re wonderful, but where’s Rainer?”
When Hausleitner explained to him that Pariasek was ill, Neureuther looked straight into the camera to tell the ORF commentator:
“Dear Rainer, my sweetheart, get well soon! If you need anything, call me! You know I’ll bring you some ginger tea with lemon. That works!”
