Austria’s slalom team keeps the gold chance alive at the World Ski Championships. Tyrolean Manuel Feller, who fell during the warm-up and crashed on his pelvis, is 0.13 seconds ahead of Norwegian Lucas Braathen, who has just returned from an appendectomy, and Greek AJ Ginnis after the first round in the slalom in Courchevel. Only a hundredth behind lurks the German Linus Strasser. Fabio Gstrein was seventh (+0.56), Marco Schwarz ninth (+0.71).
