Away shirt color from season 2023/2024: The current color red and the color of the municipality of Ried, yellow, were available. 54 percent of the survey participants voted for a yellow jersey for away games. That’s why SV Ried will wear yellow jerseys in foreign stadiums from the summer. This is not new: Rieder already played in yellow several years ago.
Warm-up music at home games: For many years the opening music was “Final Countdown” by Europe. For some time now, the teams have been playing their own SV Ried song “Who, if not us” by “RodSbuam”. 41 percent expressed the wish that one should switch back to “Final Countdown”, 27 percent voted for “if not us, who”. From now on, when the teams arrive, the hit from Europe will be played again, the work of “RodSbuam” will come out of the sound boxes in the Josko Arena during the warm-up.
Second team name: When asked about the name of the second team of SV Ried in the regional league, the current name “Junge Vikings” prevailed with 41 percent. 31 percent voted for “SV Ried Amateure”, 29 percent for “SV Ried II”. Due to this voting result, the name Junge Vikinger will remain.
