“It wasn’t a difficult decision,” said the 27-year-old on Monday evening ahead of the Women’s Champions League quarter-final first leg at Bayern Munich. The goalkeeper’s contract would have expired at the end of the season, as it has now become known that Arsenal took out an option to bind Zinsberger for another year.
The Lower Austrian has been playing for the London club since 2019. In early March, Zinsberger won the English League Cup with Arsenal thanks to a 3-1 win over Chelsea in the final.
