“With the eyes of the whole country focused on the match, the images will be in the stadium, on the broadcast and on social networks,” the organizers of the campaign highlighted, since “there are many families in Argentina who are looking for their daughters or sons lost, between uncertainty and the hope of recovering them, despite the passing of days, months or years”.

“The Argentine Football Association and Red Solidaria join forces and take advantage of this opportunity of great national and global repercussion to give visibility to the images of 99 girls and boys lost in our country,” said the statement announcing the initiative.
The organizations that collaborate in these searches claim to receive new complaints “daily”, but estimate that there are many more people in a situation of “loss than is known”.
“Aware of the solidarity culture, so characteristic of Argentina, the public and the audience are invited to join these searches, providing information and disseminating the images that they will find in the transmission of the match between Argentina and Panama and in the networks of AFA and Red Solidaria”, he concludes.
