The World Championship bronze winners Daniel Tschofenig, Michael Hayböck, Jan Hörl and Stefan Kraft celebrated first place on Saturday, as they did in Zakopane. The ÖSV quartet clearly prevailed in front of Slovenia and Poland. The Austrians thus extended their already large lead in the Nations Cup. An individual competition follows in Finland on Sunday. Next weekend the three-part season finale on the Planica ski jump is still on the program.
Good news from Kubacki
Meanwhile, good news came from Poland by Dawid Kubacki. As reported, the overall World Cup runner-up ended his season prematurely last weekend due to a life-threatening cardiological emergency affecting his wife. His wife is now stable and making progress every day, the ex-world champion reported on Instagram on Saturday.
