A world champion offered to direct Independiente after the departure of Leandro Stillitano as technical director of the Avellaneda team.
Jorge Burruchagaone of the idols of Independentstated today that he is “willing” to lead the club avellanedawhile the search continues for the successor of Leandro Stillitanowith Pedro Monzon as interim coach.
“I am willing (to direct Independiente). If they call me, there is no problem”expressed Burruchaga in dialogue with ESPNafter the draw for the Libertadores Cup and the South American Cup in Paraguayan.
“It is always said that those who are outside or have a sense of belonging to a club, when you have to lend a hand, you have to be there, and I gave it at the time. And directing is what I like, and I’m looking for it. If it’s Independent, obviously I would go.”pointed Burruchaga.
The former world champion flyer with Argentina in Mexico 1986 appeared on a list of candidates to lead Independent after the departure of stillitanothe first coach under the management of the president Fabian Doman.
