The national players around captain Joshua Kimmich returned to Säbener Straße after the international break. The French around Dayot Upamecano and the Dutch around Matthijs de Ligt had already started training.
Also on the training ground on Thursday were Jamal Musiala after tearing a muscle fiber and Leon Goretzka, who had to be replaced on Tuesday against Belgium (2:3). In the table, Borussia is one point ahead of Munich. Tuchel was signed on Friday as Julian Nagelsmann’s successor. The former Chelsea and Paris coach signed a contract with Munich until June 30, 2025.
