It still remains to determine a precise location for the construction, but there is already a budget forecast that will be around 50,000,000 dollars for the first year of works.

It will be Conmebol’s main investment in structure in 2023 and the stadium will expand its capacity to 60,000 people if South America is chosen as the venue for the 2030 Cup, with the joint candidacy of Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay and Chile.
That election will be made by the FIFA Congress in September 2024 and for now South America’s only rival is the joint candidacy of Spain, Portugal and Morocco, in a competition starting from Mexico-United States-Canada 2026 will have 48 participating teams.
In addition to its design, the project environment explores the importance of sustainable and ecological architecture, the creation of green spaces around it and meeting spaces, bars and shops for football fans. The structure is destined to be an icon of South American soccer, Conmebol announced.
The entity also included a projection of what will be the “Conmebol Stadium” in a video in which it presented the possible venues for the 2030 World Cup.
