Monagas de Venezuela, Boca Juniors’ first adversary in the Copa Libertadores, fell last night 3-0 against Carabobo, in a match corresponding to date 8 of the Venezuelan First Division Soccer League (FUTVE).

The Argentine striker Francisco Apaolaza, former Estudiantes de La Plata, played in the winning cast.

Monagas will receive Boca Juniors this Thursday 6, at 9:00 p.m., in Maturín, in a match valid for zone G of the Libertadores, which will be led by the Brazilian international Wilton Sampaio.
