The Danish professional cyclist won the 162.8-kilometer section between the towns of Errenteria and Amasa-Villabona by two seconds over the Spaniards Mikel Landa and Enric Mas. The day before, the Dutchman Ide Schelling from the Bora-hansgrohe team had won the day and temporarily taken the overall lead. The final stage of the tour climbs around the city of Eibar on Saturday.
