Fabian Doman spoke again about his resignation from the presidency of Independent this morning in radius 10. The journalist spoke with Jorge Rial about his abrupt departure from the Avellaneda club and gave the reasons.
“There are many reasons for my resignation. Look, due to the lack of economic support, the microclimate of resentment, some bad luck, the natural anguish of the fan who has it just like me. All this wears out. I am not working, I was 24 hours dedicated to the club”detailed Doman about his resignation.
“I did not steal, I did not cheat. Also, within my own group I did not feel an echo. There was nowhere else to turn… A summons from creditors?…”it was downloaded.
The resignation of Doman it came just six months after winning the club’s election by 72% of the vote. “I can’t be anyone’s puppet, the reality is that I wouldn’t be”he assured.
“There are two things that I am very clear about. I have a clear conscience and my hands are clean. I am not hiding. I tried to help a football club. I was a candidate when nobody dared to be”defended himself Doman.
On that line, he shot: “I didn’t feel used, but there were people who thought I could be used. Sometimes journalists underestimate us.”
“There were people from the Commission in charge of obtaining the resources and they are not there, they were not obtained”reiterated the former president, focusing on the economic crisis of ‘Red’. “They said that not being a footballer I wasn’t ready, but there were people on the Board of Directors who had been there for 20 years”he added.
“I haven’t slept for seven nights. I was very worried about going home knowing that I wouldn’t be able to pay my salaries”exemplified in this regard.
Meanwhile, another of the reasons that, according to Doman, accelerated his resignation were the threats he received. The journalist stated on the subject: “I just left a meeting with lawyers on the subject of death threats. The threats began when I formalized the complaint against Moyano.”
