Burruchaga is postulated: “I am to direct Independiente”

Coach Jorge Burruchaga volunteered today to take over Independent, where he already had two cycles, after the crisis due to the surprise resignation of the president Fabian Doman and the interim assumption of Nestor Grindetti.

“What is happening in Independiente is outrageous. The truth is that, whatever it is, I would like to direct Independiente. I am here to be the coach”said the former DT of Arsenal de Sarandí and Sarmiento de Junín in a note with La Red.

His time at Independiente took place in the 2007 season, with an efficiency of 45.98 percent in 29 games (12 wins, 4 draws and 13 losses).

“We all get this Independiente forward. If they call me, I’m willing to sit down to talk. I am always here to lend a hand. I always said I wanted to direct and here I am”insisted Burruchaga.

The world champion as a soccer player in Mexico 86 had his last experience in Sarmiento de Junín, where he barely spent five games and resigned in the 2016-2017 season, with a team that lost the category. He later became manager of the Argentine National Team, with poor management until the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“They did not call me from Independiente. We are willing to work, in this context of Independiente, I would do it”, repeated ‘Burru’, who is running from behind in the race with Omar De Felipe.

Burruchaga began working as technical director in 1999-2000 at Defensa y Justicia and continued with Jaguares de Chiapas (Mexico), Arsenal, Estudiantes de La Plata, Banfield, Atlético de Rafaela, Libertad (Paraguay) and Olimpia (Paraguay).
