A total of five kickers had to answer for themselves. A trio of hosts received suspensions of 12, 14 and 23 games, two kickers from the guests were each sentenced to four games (plus four other games conditionally). In addition, the OÖFV forwarded the file to the public prosecutor’s office. St. Martin reacted even before the association penalty: the lower house club suspended the trio of players.

There are also sanctions for the abandonment of the lower house game between the 1b team from state league Schalchen and St. Pantaleon (2nd class south-west) a few weeks ago. Since the guests had left, the game was rated 4:1 (status at the time of the demolition) for the home side. A St. Pantaleon kicker was suspended for three games (plus eight games conditional). The Schalchen linesman who hit the kicker in question with the flag was excluded from all refereeing functions.

Red card withdrawn

There was a precedent in the Upper Austrian lower house: Almir Barucic, referee of the most recent Landesliga Ost game between SC Marchtrenk and Putzleinsdorf, admitted after the final whistle that Patrick Hamader had mistakenly ruled out an SC kicker due to a misperception. The red card has now been withdrawn and the ban lifted.
