Linz Marathon: traffic measures

The running event will entail extensive road closures in the city area from 5:30 a.m. According to ÖAMTC mobility information, the most important blocking concerns the Mühlkreisautobahn (A7). It will not be passable between the junctions Prinz-Eugen-Strasse and Dornach from 4 a.m. to around 12 noon. In addition, the uphill and downhill ramps on Wiener Strasse and Neue Welt/Salzburger Strasse will be closed for the same period.

Wiener Straße will also be closed towards the city center from the Lunzerstraße intersection. (Access possibility for residents and resident traffic up to the new world). Traffic is diverted via Lunzerstraße to the Ebelsberg bypass. Two-way traffic areas will be set up on the Nibelungenbrücke and Dauphinestrasse. The Leonfeldner Straße (B126) is a one-way route out of town, towards town the detour takes place via Harbacherstraße and Hauptstraße.
