The pilot Alex Conci, 27 years old, died today in a clinic in Córdoba as a consequence of a car crash suffered during the early hours of Sunday in that city, reported the Association of Road Tourism Corridors (ACTC).
Conci had been admitted to the Emergency Hospital since yesterday with severe head trauma and a perforated lung due to a rib fractureafter the accident in the vicinity of the Mario Alberto Kempes World Cup stadium.
“The next 48 hours are essential to see how it evolves and what action to take from it,” those close to Conci had specified when consulting the Champions site about their status.
“Chucky” Conci, a native of the Cordoba town of Colonia Tirolesaworked in the National Tourism Class 2 from the 2021 season.
His beginnings in motorsport were in karting, a specialty in which he was twice champion of the TBR division (2004 and 2007) and Argentine monarch (2007). He also ran formula renault.
“We deeply regret the departure of Alex Conci, TN C2 pilot. Our condolences to family and friends, published the ACTC. “We will never forget you,” the National Tourism account posted, after the news broke.
