Is Ried’s defense chief Tin Plavotic about to move to Germany? Yesterday, Monday, “laola1.at” reported that the 25-year-old defender had an offer from a German second division club and that he was said to be inclined to want to accept it in the summer. Ried sports director Thomas Reicheltshammer makes it clear when asked by OÖN: “There is currently no offer for Tin on the table. I learned the story myself from the media.”
Of course, it cannot be ruled out that clubs will express interest in Plavotic shares in the summer. Reicheltshammer: “Tin is having a good season, his profile can certainly be interesting for some clubs. But he has an ongoing contract that also applies to the coming season.”
Meisl in conversation?
Also, that with Austria defender Matteo Meisl a possible successor candidate would already be available, Reifenltshammer denied: “Matteo Meisl is an interesting, young Austrian player, but this story is also fictitious.”
It’s not the first time that rumors have disrupted preparations during the tricky phase of the championship – in the middle of the fight to stay up. “It’s more than annoying,” Tireeltshammer said angrily.
