Philipp Lahm questions the attitude of his former teammate Joshua Kimmich with regard to his refusal to vaccinate.
For DFB honorary captain Philipp Lahm it is incomprehensible that national player Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich.
“I read a lot, and that’s where I get information. And I haven’t read so many who said: vaccination is bad,” said Lahm during the discussion series Süddeutsche Zeitung “Munich talks”. As a football professional you have a “role model” and are a “multiplier”.
When asked whether he would have approached an unvaccinated teammate as the captain of FC Bayern or the DFB team, Lahm (37) replied: “Yes. I think it would have been my job to talk to him about it to convince.”
