Kylian Mbappe had already graced the cover of the famous video game for FIFA 21. The PSG star is now doing this again in FIFA 22.
Paris Saint-Germain star striker Kylian Mbappe will be back on the cover of the video game on FIFA 22. Game manufacturer EA Sports officially announced this on Friday.
The latest version of the famous soccer simulation is likely to be released in September or October. Mbappe already adorns the cover of the current edition FIFA 21.
Kylian Mbappe like Ronaldo: twice in a row on the FIFA cover
The 22-year-old Frenchman is only the second player to receive this honor. Before that, only Cristiano Ronaldo was on the FIFA cover twice in a row (2018 and 2019).
“To be on the FIFA cover twice in a row is wonderful,” Mbappe was quoted as saying in a statement from EA Sports. “I have a special connection to the game and I’m looking forward to enjoying FIFA 22 with you guys.”
