River Plate midfielder Agustín Palavecino, who was sent off in his team’s 1-0 victory in the Superclásico against Boca Juniors for his “excessive” celebration after the conquest, caused by a generalized brawl among all the players, said today that he felt “sorry” for what done.
“I am happy with the victory and more so in a Superclásico, but looking at everything that happened I am sorry for what I did and for what was generated. There was no need but I just got the tab in the locker room”indicated Palavecino in statements to TyC Sports about what he experienced in the victory against Boca.
“I saw the celebrations in the locker room and that’s where I got the record of what I did, because I lost everything for that and I regret it, but well, I’m still happy for the team, for the people and for the victory”.
Regarding the reasons for your reaction, palavecino highlighted: “There had been a lot of talk during the week, we came from a hard blow and they were a mixture of feelings, but more than anything I didn’t know how to control myself and it’s not the image we want to give in River. There is a marked path and we have to continue there , it is not a good example what I did”he remarked.
about what he said Enzo Perez and the DT Martin Demicheliscounted: “Today I spoke to Enzo in the morning and I apologized, the same as with Martín (Demichelis) to whom I told that I was sorry”.
