Racing will seek tomorrow to end the negative series in the Professional League as a visitor to Platense

Racing Club, which obtained one point from the last 18 that it played, will try to end that negative series when it visits Platense, whose coach Martín Palermo is playing for the position after three straight defeats, in one of the games to be played tomorrow on the 16th date of the Professional Football League (LPF).

The game will be played this Sunday starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Ciudad de Vicente López stadium, of the “Calamar” team, with the refereeing of Hernán Mastrángelo and televised by ESPN Premium.

The “Academy” has not won for six dates with a draw and five losses, an adverse series that places it with only 18 units, without a chance to fight for the title and relegated in the qualification for the Cups of the next season, either the Libertadores or the South American.

In the current Libertadores, Fernando Gago’s team is in first place in their group, but without a doubt the extensive list of injured, some with a long recovery time such as Emiliano Vecchio, Johan Carbonero, Leonel Miranda and Gonzalo Piovi, contributed to the team drop.

On the Platense side, after a good run of three wins in a row, reality changed and now they have accumulated three losses in a row, remaining second to last in the average table and with a serious risk of relegation.

So that a new defeat of the “Squid” would put an end to the cycle of the “Titan” Palermo.
