Despite the move to Paris Saint-Germain just a few days ago, Achraf Hakimi still dreams of a permanent commitment to his youth club Real Madrid. Hakimi’s advisor Alejandro Camano confirmed this on the show The transistor.
“We keep the tension and the dream alive that Achraf will return to Real Madrid. He was born in Madrid, he grew up in Madrid and one day he would love to play for Real Madrid,” said Camano.
Hakimi’s move from Inter Milan to top French club PSG had been made perfectly during the week. The Moroccan, who played on loan for Borussia Dortmund from 2018 to 2020, signed a contract on the Seine until 2026. The transfer fee, including possible bonus payments, will amount to up to 70 million euros.

Camano confirms Los Blancos had an opportunity to bring Hakimi back. “Real Madrid had the right of first refusal until PSG and Inter said the deal would go through,” he said. Hakimi did not make more than 17 appearances for Real’s professional team before moving to Inter for over 40 million euros in autumn 2020.
