The Argentine national team recovered today with a 3-1 victory over local Canada in their third match in the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), which was played in the city of Ottawa.
Marcelo Méndez’s team, which had just lost in a tie-break against Brazil, prevailed with partial scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-21 and 25-21 in their penultimate game of the first weekend of competition.
The closing of this stage in Canada will take place tomorrow with the fourth game against the Netherlands.
The “albiceleste” men’s team, bronze medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, will continue its participation in the VNL starting June 20 with a tour of Orleans, in which it will face Slovenia, France, Bulgaria and Japan.
