The club River Plate signed this Monday an agreement for the free use of a property that is one kilometer from the monumental stadiumwhich will be used for the construction of a first level training center for the formative divisions.
The negotiations initiated by the president of the club, Jorge Britoat the beginning of 2022 they materialized this Monday with the signing of the agreement in which they participated in addition to the holder of RiverThe secretary general Stefano DiCarloWith Eduardo Albanese and Juan DebandiPresident and Vice President of the Administration Agency of State Assets (AABE).
The land has an area of about 74 thousand square meters and they are located on the banks of the Río de la Plata, between Lugones avenue, the Medrano stream and the Federal Tire.
This resolution of AABE is the result of an arduous management of the club that involved the Argentina Armyhe Ministry of Defencethe Secretary of Human Rights of the Nation of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rightsand the State Assets Administration Agencywho was the one who ultimately resolved that these invaluable lands become in the hands of the Núñez entity.
“This agreement was obtained by sharing the interests of all the actors involved and working from River to advance in the use of a very valuable space in the City and for our Club, with a clear social, educational and sports objective for the entire community”explained President Brito.
“With this management, River strengthens the meaning of civil associations, which together with the State have in common the purpose and obligation of contributing to the integral development of the community“, indicated Stefano Di Carlo.
Finally, the institution in an official statement announced: “After eighteen months of management and arduous negotiations led by President Jorge Brito, River adds 7.3 new hectares one kilometer from the Monumental, 90 years after the feat carried out by Antonio Vespucio Liberti when in 1934 he achieved the first large acquisition of land for the Club”.
