The first personnel decisions have been made at basketball triple winner OCS Swans Gmunden. The previous assistant coach Aleksi Koskinen, who also played a leading role in the youth squad, is leaving the club for his Finnish homeland. “He did a good job, we owe him a great debt of gratitude. Aleksi leaves a big gap that needs to be filled,” said CFO Harald Stelzer about the 31-year-old, who joined the Swans in 2019 with coach Anton Mirolybov.

There is good news from Toni Blazan (31): The national player will stay with the Gmundners, he extended his contract by two years until 2025. Another player will also be on board until at least 2025, wearing the red-white-red team jersey. We are talking about new acquisition Jakob Lohr. The 20-year-old guard comes from the Vienna Timberwolves.

But Daniel Köppel’s time at Traunsee is over after a mixed season. The 23-year-old moves to the Oberwart Gunners in Burgenland.
