The Argentine striker Thiago Almada, one of the world champions, said today that Lionel Messi asked him about the American MLS (Major League Soccer) but he is “lazy” of information and promised to “study” to comment, despite being a figure of competition at Atlanta United.

“The other day (Messi) asked me and I was half behind with that information. He wanted to know what the tournament and the matches were like. I didn’t know much, I was half lazy. Then I’ll find out, I told him,” he said between laughs in one note with TyC Sports.

“I’m happy that Lionel can come to the league. People are crazy about his arrival. They’re going to enjoy it a lot and they’re going to treat him very well,” he said about Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami, which is in the Conference This -same from Atlanta United-.
On the other hand, Almada spoke about his feelings about Qatar: “It was a bit fast due to the bad luck of the injuries to Nicolás González and Tucu (Joaquín Correa). It was a dream to be there, then luckily we were able to become champions, I didn’t I could believe”.
Almada, 21, added six minutes in the 2-0 win against Poland, on the final date of the group stage and with the qualification already accomplished in group C. His entry was given by Alexis Mac Allister, now reinforcement from Liverpool.
“From my family, as a boy to be there kicking stones, I always dreamed of playing a World Cup and all that came to my mind at the moment the coach called me,” he recalled.
“We played in the neighborhood, on dirt courts, with stones… Obviously we played with a ball, but there,” he elaborated.
The attacker made his official debut in the National Team on September 24, in the 3-0 win against Honduras, on the same day that Enzo Fernández took his first step.
