The international racing teams send strong people into the race. Ineos, for example, with Pavel Sivakov, a top round driver, as well as the British top talent Leo Hayter. In addition to world-class sprinter Pascal Ackermann, the UAE team includes Davide Formolo, George Bennett and Marc Hirschi. Tobias Bayer from Strass im Attergau is the captain of the Belgian WorldTour team Alpecin.
Before the tour starts, the state championships will take place in Lower Austria this weekend.
