Lively transfer activity at SV Guntamatic Ried: As reported, Nikki Havenaar is moving from FC Thun to the Innviertel. The 28-year-old centre-back, who has signed a two-year contract, was last on loan at Neuchatel Xamax and is set to replace Tin Plavotic (at Austria Wien).
In addition, the Vikings brought in Oguzhan Özlesen, a perspective player from Regionalliga-Ost-Klub Mauerwerk. The 21-year-old, who went through the academy of Wiener Austria in his youth, scored four goals for the third division club in the previous season.
Wiessmeier leaves Ried
With Mark Grosse (from Kapfenberg), Havenaar and Özlesen, three new players will be taking part in tomorrow’s performance tests before the Vikings start preparing for the summer on the pitch on Friday.
Josef Weberbauer and Julian Wießmeier will no longer be there: While Weberbauer is drawn to second division Leoben, Wießmeier is returning to his homeland according to OÖN information and docking in the German regional league in the Berlin area. The 30-year-old is leaving Ried after six years.
