Despite the Buenos Aires candidacy, Grindetti wants to continue as president of Independiente

Nestor Grindetti plans to continue as president of Independent, decision that will be ratified in the Assembly that will take place this Thursday, in one of the gyms of the Avellaneda institution.

According to what was revealed to Télam by different sources of the ‘Red’, the manager, who is holding the position on an interim basis after the resignation presented last April by Fabián Doman, “agrees” to continue leading the entity until October 2026.

“The resolution will be taken by the Assembly members, those of the ruling party who are the majority, and the opposition”informed Télam one of the consulted spokesmen.

The members that make up the register will be able to witness the Assembly that will be held in the Bottaro gymnasium, starting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Grindetti will assume the measure of continuing to be president, despite the fact that he also is listed as a pre-candidate for governor of the province of Buenos Aires for the space Together for Change, which postulates Patricia Bullrich as President of the Nation.
